Person-Centered
Person-centered therapy is a non-directive form of talk therapy, also known as client-centered therapy, that emphasizes the client's control over the therapeutic process. This approach believes that clients are the experts on their own lives and can achieve personal growth and healing when they feel accepted, understood, and supported by the therapist. The therapist creates a safe environment for the client to explore their thoughts and feelings, fostering self-awareness and helping them find their own solutions.
