Somatic Therapy
Somatic therapy is a mind-body approach that combines talk therapy with physical techniques to help people process emotions and heal from trauma, stress, anxiety, and grief. It works on the principle that the mind and body are interconnected and that past experiences, especially trauma, can be stored in the body as physical tension or other symptoms. The therapy uses mindful awareness, movement, and breathwork to help clients release these stored emotions and regain a sense of safety and self-regulation.
